The Scex Rouge building
The top station at Scex Rouge (2,971 m) is far more than a lift shed. The building was designed by the Swiss architect Mario Botta, and it stacks a self-service restaurant, a table-service restaurant, a terrace restaurant and a rooftop terrace one above the other, all reached by lift.
Restaurant Botta on the upper floors was completely rebuilt after a fire and reopened two years later. With lifts throughout, Le 3, Botta, the Carnotzet terrace and the rooftop terrace all suit visitors with reduced mobility.
